Voice Coaching For Teachers (VPT)
Purpose:
This course is designed to give you a total understanding of how your own voice works and how to use it properly - whenever and wherever you are - such as conducting a lesson, using the PA at a loud and lively sports event to a gathered group of enthusiastic parents and students, talking on the telephone, or when speaking to a teaching associate, student or concerned parent. At the start of the course, you’ll get to identify what type of voice you have and how to use your strengths and reduce your weaknesses. You’ll learn Total Voice Control (TM) – including proper breathing, diction, vocal variety and projection- making what you say much more powerful, persuasive and interesting. And by learning how your own voice works, you'll may be able to add that little bit of extra help to your students with their speaking concerns too. (Or send them to us!)
